SnapMe Swimwear Review

My family spends a lot of time in the pool. My daughter and I have been attending swimming classes since she was a little under a year old.

The time in the water is always fun, it’s the time out of the water that is sometimes challenging. You never know what an accident is gonna happen. I always put DD’s swimsuit on at home on top of her swimming diaper, so we don’t have to spend too much time in the change room. But in the 10 minutes it takes us to drive from home to the pool, she’d need changing before we can hit the water. That means, taking her clothes off, taking her swimsuit off, removing dirty diaper, putting on a new diaper and then putting her swimsuit back on. If she’s dry, this isn’t too bad. Trying putting a wet swimsuit back on.

I could get her a tankini, but knowing me, I would lose one half of it and she’s end up with mismatched suits.

This is where SnapMe Swimwear comes in. Their bathing suits have snaps at the bottom just like onesies. It’s such a brilliant idea, I’m surprised it’s taken this long before someone actually made it. They are perfect for diaper changes. I can have DD out of the water, change her diaper, and get her back in the water in less than half the time it would have taken if she was wearing her normal one piece suit.

I think my daughter is also showing some pre-potty training signs. Now, everytime she says ‘Mommy poop-poop’ I check. 90% of the time, the deed’s done, but sometimes it’s not, so the faster I can get her out of her diapers and on the potty, the better.
A note for when you do decide to get one. The size runs a little big. We received a size 2T, but it was still a little big for my girl, I’m sure she will still be using it next summer.
